Job Summary-Junior Quantity Surveyor Engineer- (Lebanon)

The Junior Quantity Surveyor Engineer assists in managing project quantities, cost estimates, BOQ preparation, and contract documentation. The role supports senior QS team members in verifying site quantities, preparing reports, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs.
Support cost estimation and budgeting activities for projects.
Verify site quantities and progress with senior QS engineers.
Prepare interim valuations, progress reports, and financial documentation.
Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate measurement and costing.
Assist in contract administration and procurement documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for cost control.
Maintain organized records of measurements, contracts, and reports.
Support senior QS team in reporting and project close-out activities.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost control (fresh graduates with internships can apply).
Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract documentation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS software.
Good communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work under guidance of senior engineers.
