Job Summary -MEP Projects Engineer- (Abidjan)

The MEP Projects Engineer in Abidjan plans, coordinates, and executes Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on construction projects in the city. The role ensures that MEP systems are designed, installed, and commissioned according to project specifications, technical standards, and safety regulations. The engineer coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients in Abidjan to deliver high-quality, efficient, and timely MEP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP project activities on-site.
Review MEP drawings, specifications, and design documents for compliance with project requirements.
Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local codes in Abidjan.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for management and clients.
Assist in procurement, material selection, and vendor coordination for MEP systems.
Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and provide practical solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians to enhance site performance and efficiency.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities for approvals and project coordination.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
3–7 years of experience in MEP project engineering, with experience in site coordination and supervision.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management software.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, coordination, and team management abilities.
Familiarity with local construction regulations, standards, and practices in Abidjan.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, supervise teams, and ensure timely project delivery.
