Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary -Senior Structural Engineer-

The Senior Structural Engineer leads the structural engineering design, analysis, and project implementation for construction and infrastructure projects. The role ensures structural integrity, compliance with codes and standards, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The Senior Structural Engineer mentors junior engineers and provides technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead structural design and analysis for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality and adherence to design.
Prepare technical reports, structural assessments, and documentation for management and clients.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior structural engineers.
Review and evaluate materials, construction methods, and project proposals.
Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling related to structural works.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
8–15 years of experience in structural engineering design and project management.
Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design codes, and construction methods.
Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery with high quality standards.
